It Doesn't Get Better Than This......

I have been hounded over the last several days that people are asking and wondering how we are doing. I haven't had much time or energy to write about what sort of trouble we have gotten ourselves into. But I want to assure you that this will be for sure the best summer of my life. My kids are great and having a blast. I need to grow up and quit living vicariously through them. (Yeah! Whatever) I will give everyone a full update by Tuesday. Until then..... have a great weekend. Is it the weekend? :)

Ready For Take Off

With less than 24 hours until take off, the kids are showing a similar excitement that resembles the night before Christmas. I am a few days behind schedule, due to a last minute visit from my long lost Cousin Eddie, and a wild 4th of July weekend on Lummi Island. We are now ready for our summer abroad. The Ex (my RV) is loaded up and ready to hit the road. Without the help of good friends and family, I don't know if this trip would have been possible. Or at least we would be doing some major improvising. My Dad and brother fixed a few broken water pipes. I obviously didn't winterize up to freezing standards. And my good friend Greg fixing a broken valve in the shitter, which must have also froze. ;)

Summer has been full of so much excitement thus far, I can't believe there will be more fun to be had. Everyone keeps asking how long we will be gone. My answer to that....... 'good thing I have tickets to the Jack Johnson concert on August 24th, otherwise we may not come back.'
